For almost five years, I have always felt compelled to start a blog. But, I never really knew what I should share or how I could even reach my readers?!

It always seemed like there were so many bloggers around me and no information to be found. I even created a blog but couldn’t quite finish setting it up.

Around this time, I was getting my bachelor’s degree in public relations, so I continued my education.

Then I decided to start another blog and couldn’t reach any readers.

Time went on, and I still had a blog on my mind. By this time, I was researching on the internet, listening to podcasts, watching YouTube videos, and reading everything I could.

In my fifth year of wanting to start a blog, I was in my master’s program, and I felt impressed to look again at how to start a blog. It was like God was telling me it was my time. I thought the journey maybe wasn’t for me, so why was it calling me again?

But this time was different. I had more experiences, things to share and found how I would connect with my readers. Through my LIFE story, talking about college, because I invested eight years of my life after high school, changed my major more than ten times, only plan a baby during my master’s program.

My blog also shares my journey with motherhood. I talk about the lessons learned since I got pregnant during my master’s program and how to balance motherhood. It also shares pieces of my family and little girl Kyla because she is my entire world, and I have learned so much because of her.

Lastly, careers because even though I have a master’s in school psychology, I still feel like it is a piece of the story I am writing only to continue this journey with the love of having my blog. I plan to talk about different careers and ways to be successful with or without a college degree because we are all meant for something great.

How to get started blogging

The difference this last time around was that I had a niche. A purpose. But I still knew nothing about blogging or reaching out to my readers that actually wanted to hear the information I was sharing about college, careers, or motherhood.

One day, a seemingly young girl in college popped up on Pinterest. I found her blog, and she was handing out loads of information that was never seen on the internet before!! Her main focus was not even about blogging!

It was like I was seeing her all over the place, little did she know she was my angel. She was so inspiring and informational that I was always eager to hear more. She is Sophia Lee and runs by Sophia Lee.

Once I found Sophia, it was like information started unraveling. There were multiple people, courses, resources, and information suddenly at my feet!!

One thing she and I had in common is that we both researched like crazy, but she did it at a time when I gave up and became highly successful!

Now that I deeply understand the blogging world, I am so eager to learn, educate, and share my stories to inspire others to fulfill their dream.
