This post will give you the best Christmas gifts for 2-year-old girls and boys.
Christmas is that time of year that has now become super hectic for us parents right?! There are so many to shop for starting with our littles, and it just seems like we can never get anything done fast enough.
I used to think it was boring to shop on Amazon haha, but now it seems to be my go-to for EVERYTHING! To make Christmas shopping hopefully so much easier, I created a list of the best Christmas gifts for 2-year-old girls, boys, and they are great for all toddlers!
Shopping in the stores around the busy holiday season is not my favorite thing to do anymore. I actually prefer going to Target on a chill night or when a new season arrives. Not really during the chaos of it all.
Some items on the list are some of my soon-to-be TWO-YEAR-OLD baby girls Kyla’s current favorites as of recently. Toys that she uses on a daily! And others are toys that I have taken note of over the time I have watched her play at her cousin’s houses and friend’s houses.
I hope you find this gift guide of the best Christmas gifts for 2-year-old made so amok please when you shop for your 2-year-old!
Even though we only have one little girl and one on the way (not sure if it is a boy or girl), I have collaborated with those close to me that have two-year-old boys so that you can have ideas for your baby boy too!

Christmas Gifts for Girls
1. Tea Set
Remember how much fun tea parties were when we were little. I could not wait to buy Kyla a little tea set. If your little girl is very interested in being independent and doing her own thing like a big girl, this will be a good buy!
Kyla loves her own cup, and to be independent. Whether or not the little girls are into parties this is another fun pretend play set that is good for enhancing their learning and creates social skill opportunities. Definitely a good one for list to see how much fun they will have!
2. Disney Elsa Doll
If you have a little girl, then she is most likely obsessed with Elsa! Kyla has watched all the Frozen movies and loves them so much that she sings the songs. It is so cute!
She loves babies so much that I think she would just be so obsessed with a real life Elsa that she could hug and hold!
3. Pink Baby Stroller
Every little girl at some point likes be the “mommy.” Kyla loves her babies. We got this stroller for her last year, this something she uses all the time, honestly daily. She has to push her baby in the stroller.
Kyla rocks her babies, puts them so sleep. It is so sweet haha.
If your little girl loves being mommy and has played a lot with her babies, then you seriously cannot go wrong with this stroller. It also is great for pretend play and helping them understand our role as becoming a mama. This will be something these little girls can use for years ahead, because I am sure they will only be adding to their baby collection.
4. Minnie Mouse Train and Potty System
Have you started potty training? This is the cutest little girl potty. Kyla turns TWO in December so we are looking to get her started potty training. If your little one loves Minnie Mouse or you are looking to start potty training, this is the cutest!
The hope is that it wont be so scary and a place that your little one actually likes to sit!
5. Shopping Cart
Shopping carts seem to be another fun one for the little girls! I mean what is the one thing you do each week if not twice a week? SHOP! haha, and they just watch us the whole time.
We got Kyla a shopping cart for Christmas last year and she would push it around the house sometimes. Now that she is almost two, it is another daily item she uses with her baby of course. I think our littles like to pretend they are us and so now it is more than pushing around a cart.
Kyla likes to put items in her cart, and before you know it they will need us to be their cashier! haha.
6. Indoor Tent for Girls With Tunnel
If you haven’t seen one of these in person they are seriously like a mini Disneyland for the girls! They are made to fit inside of your living room and are a great way to entertain some girl friends.
I was first introduced to this indoor tent when I went over to a friends house. She had this out for her two little girls, and this was Kyla’s absolute favorite thing to do! They laughed so much and played in the tent. Kyla loved running through the tunnel, it was so cute to see how they interacted.
Now that I know she loves this so much, it is on her Christmas list this year FOR SURE!
7. Unicorn Plush Chair
A while back, I was not really sure how I felt about these chairs. I asked myself are these a waste or actually worth buying? We lived in a condo for the longest time and I just did not want to take up any extra space.
BUT, unicorns are totally a hit for the girls, and Kyla has gotten to the point of sitting for longer periods of time. This should be a fun gifts for movie nights. Plus, they are so soft and something I know our little girls will love to sit in their own plush chair while watching their favorite movie!
8. Toddler Piano
A piano is a fun one for littles to get introduced to. If Kyla could play any instrument I would love for her to play the piano. What better way to introduce them to musical instruments and see if their artsy side comes out.
This little pink piano would not take up much space in their room and would be a fun way to keep them occupied while bringing out some of their talents as littles!
9. Piano Mat
I am not completely obsessed with pianos, or am I haha? Kyla got this mat last year for Christmas but seems to be more interested in stepping on it now more than ever!
The piano mat lights up and plays musical notes for them that are fun in the home to keep them busy!
10. Beauty Vanity Set
Even though Kyla is almost two, she has loved watching me put my make up on since she just turned 1 years old. This beauty set is such a good price and comes with all things beauty for your little girl to play with. It has a blowdryer, make up, brush, lipstick, and the cutest little set up with a seat and vanity. This is so fun for pretend play and when friends come over! If your little girl loves make up or brushes, she will love this set.
Christmas Gifts for Boys
Shopping for little boys is definitely a different kind of fun than shopping for little girls. These are some of the best Christmas gifts for 2 year old boys that they will have so much fun with!
1. Play Tent With Camping Gear and Tools
This play tent is super cool, if your family likes to go camping or daddy always has their tools around then your little boy might love this. He will want to be just like his daddy or papa and get to do all the fun outdoor things.
Great way to practice some pretend play for little boys!
2. Play Tent With Tunnel and Ball Pit
Just like Kyla loved playing in the tent, here is a blue play tent for boys that you can set up in your living room so that they can stay busy in the ball pit or running through the tunnels!
3. Drum Set
If you want your little boy to explore the artistic side, this drum set is perfect! Even though I don’t have a little boy yet, I have brothers that are 15 and 21 years younger than me. Boys just like to be rough and make lots of racket.
They can totally do that by playing the drums!
4. Little Tikes Basketball Hoop
Every little boy will get into sports at some point, whether you love basketball or don’t shooting hoops is always fun. My nephew has one of these and loves playing basketball inside!
Really all the kids love it, but what a fun way to explore some talent at a young age! Also, another great way to keep your boy occupied while you fold laundry or do the dishes 😉
5. Mega Bloks
Something about building, these were my little brothers favorite toys ever! They both started their love for building at a super young age and have moved into legos and other fun builds! Mega Bloks are one toy that keeps boys interested forever.
I always love seeing what what children are interested in from a. very young age because I think it speaks a lot about their personalities.
6. Smart Shots Sports Center
Smart shots sports center is one you can take to a nearby field, the park, or even a big space in your home. It is the coolest little set up that introduces just how fun sports are to your little boys! They can play with their neighbors, cousins, siblings, and even you!
7. Outdoor Wheelbarrow & Tool Set
Another cute outdoor toy for boys. My little nephew LOVES to visit his grandma, play outside, and do all things that involve dirt! If this is your little guy, he will love an outdoor wheelbarrow tool set so he can get dirty and just be a boy! Love this for little boys. Definitely can’t wait to buy this for my little boy (one day).
8. Woody Chair Desk
What little boy doesn’t love toy story? The woody chair desk is one that is cool to have because its a place top sit and eat, color, watch TV, and store some favorite things in your little boys room or your living room.
9. Truck Set
The ultimate must have for any boy at any age. TRUCKS! My best friend just had her little guys birthday and one thing he could probably not have enough of is trucks. A gift you could never go wrong with. I also though this would be perfect with the wheelbarrow tool set!
Christmas Gift Ideas for Toddlers
1. Little Tikes Indoor/Outdoor Slide
If you do not have a slide in your home, let me just say WORTH IT! Before we bought this indoor slide, Kyla’s cousin had one that she had in her house. Together the girls took turns sliding down it over and over. We finally bought one and she has jumped on it everyday.
This slide is great for your living room so your little ones can play on it while you are making dinner, relaxing, or letting them just be silly in your home. By far one of Kyla’s favorites. Your little one will be OBSESSED too!!
2. Little Tikes Trampoline
Is your little one a busy body? This trampoline is equally as good as the slide and super entertaining for the littles. This is another on our Christmas list for Kyla because she loves to run around everywhere. Littles are just busy haha, let’s admit.
This year we decided we would get Kyla a trampoline because her she uses her cousins to jump all-the-time so we know it will be a GREAT BUY! It will be a big hit for the Christmas list!
3. 4 Chair Table Set (Several Color Options)
As your little one gets older, its a good time to get them used to sitting down in their seat, working on fine motor skills like writing, drawing, and painting. Last year, we really wanted to get Kyla a table but this year is definitely the time to buy when they are at least 2 years old.
I want to Kyla to have a table for her room where she can have tea parties, play with play dough, and a table her own size so that she can have it for anything she wants. This is the set we want her have because it comes it all sorts of colors for boys and girls! We will most likely go with gray or espresso.
4. Table Play Kitchen
Last year we bough Kyla a kitchen and she enjoyed using the kitchen to help her stand up. She liked to open the doors, and gnaw on the food. This is another great gift for pretend play. Kyla is more interested in making mama nummas and going to her own kitchen.
The play kitchen is one that will last for years with all of your littles especially with a gender neutral color because they all like to do the things that they see us do in the kitchen. It is also a great time to talk about different foods, preparing meals, and how that correlates with shopping for groceries. We are all about learning young in our home! 😉
5. Alphabet and Number Puzzles
Not too far from preschool age to get started on the alphabet. Kyla knows some letters but I want to work on letter and number identification in person and not just having her see the letters and numbers or sing them when watching coco melon.
Our littles listen to everything and pick up new things everyday. You can sit down with them, point to the letter, hold the letter, and place them in the correct order. Kyla has recently gotten into puzzles so the alphabet is a great way to start!
6. Doodle Board Tablet
If you are ever on the road or in a quiet place like church, what a great way to have your little ones color without a mess. I thought this doodle board tablet would be a great gift for toddlers. We definitely need something like this for Kyla. Especially since we go to church, are always on the road, and want her to work on her fine motor skills and gripping!
7. 3 Wheel Scooter
For your busy toddler, a three wheel scooter will do it. Kyla is almost TWO, and loves hopping on any scooter she sees. of course she is busy, so if your toddler is, you can take them outside or to the park and help them learn to ride their scooter! It has lights and comes in many different colors, which is perfect for night time and safety!
I hope you find some gifts for your toddler that you know they will love!!
