Today we celebrated two birthdays that share the same day of two very special men in my life, one on earth and one in heaven. God knew that I needed you two, his plan is perfect. Dad, I’m so grateful to call you my dad! We’ve shared quite the memories over the years- bonding over hours and hours of softball 🥎, skating, bowling, adventures, beach trips, river trips, we’ve done it all dad! Right where you were, grandpa made sure he was there too! I’m grateful for his example and yours dad. As a young father, You’ve always been by my side and so involved in my life. Coming out to California to celebrate another year with you at the field is just where I wanted to be! You’re as great as they come dad, and led by the best example! Tonight we spent yours and grandpa’s birthday doing just what you both loved to do- watching a softball game with a good show. Kam really made it just that tonight with her home run. Grandpa was definitely at the field tonight watching your birthday gift from above. ⬆️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD + GRANDPA. I LOVE YOU BOTH SOO MUCH💙🎂🥎

Heaven opened the gates for our favorite angel two

Heaven opened the gates for our favorite angel two nights ago. My grandpa, that I’ve had the opportunity of also having as another dad + father figure in my life suffered from a cancer called Multiple Myeloma. A cancer that attacks your muscles, without a cure. Little did we know 10 years ago the strength he’d have to have for this fight. It’s been one very long battle with a lot of beautiful moments and cherished memories along the way. Seeing someone you love dearly go through such pain makes it hard to let go, but comforting to let God. Grandpa, you will always be an extra special one that is hard to find. You’ve always been a peacemaker, have had the biggest heart, stood behind your promises, believed in paying your tithing, doing good deeds, always supported your family, and made sure that we knew your testimony of eternal families. That was the example you lived, that I’m forever grateful for. Your love for grandma and the years you fought to comfort her with such strength will always be the sweetest of love I’ve ever witnessed that is unconditional and pure. You’ve always led by example for us all. I don’t know where I would be without you rearing me, and your guidance. You have taught me so much about life, love, and the gospel. I’m so grateful you’ve baptized me, and witnessed the beautiful life that has only just begun for Lehi and I and our babies. Thank you for always being right beside me. My life could have been much different without you, grandpa. I’ve had countless beautiful memories from my childhood until your last breath. Until we meet again, one day. Our heavenly angel 👼 I LOVE YOU. 😘

We stayed at the princess castle this week 👑🏰 (as Kyla calls it) and woke up early for a full day at Disneyland! 💖 Koa loved autotopia + buzz, Kyla loved any big girl ride she could get on. We took the littles on as many rides as they could, it was such a blast! Swipe to see the character they got to meet this time. Maybe next time we try California adventure :)

Kalen, our sweet baby boy is ONE!! So many changes

Kalen, our sweet baby boy is ONE!! So many changes have happened fast for us this past month. He rides in a new car seat, drinks new bottles + sippies, got a haircut + sleeps in a big boy crib. Can we just slow down time for a little? 🥲 Our baby is crawling everywhere and almost ready to walk! Kal has brought so much joy into our lives. He fit himself right into our plan + is just what we needed! He makes sure to keep up with the rest. Says “mama, dad, and hi.” Happy Birthday sweet boy, mom & dad love you SOO MUCH!! 🤍🎉🎂

KALEN’S FIRST HAIRCUT ✂️ — We found a cute

KALEN’S FIRST HAIRCUT ✂️ — We found a cute place in Chandler for kids that was perfect for Kalen’s first cut just before he turns ONE! He did SO GOOD! I was surprised he didn’t cry once haha. He was big time entertained with the TV’s, many combs she gave him to eat haha, and squishy toys! Kal kept looking up at her or turn his head and she was soo patient with our boy. Such a bittersweet moment because we always let our littles hair grow without ever touching it for the first year! We can’t believe our Kal will be ONE in a few short days! Come watch Kalen get his haircut with us- our little baby is now looking like a little man. 🥲

Koa has a current obsession with howses (horses) +

Koa has a current obsession with howses (horses) + he was in heaven all weekend waking up to see, feed, and help his papa with the horses🐴. Every morning conversation was about the horses and these are the moments and phases I never want to forget. 🤎🤎
