This post shares a list of quick and short programs that pay well!
There are many reasons short programs that pay well are not a bad idea at all. Maybe you’ve tried college out, and the length of time it takes to get a degree was pointless or discouraging.
I have said this before, and I will say it again, many short programs pay well and are actually a smart option because you can achieve your career goals in half of the time and make the same if not more money than the average college student.
Although I have a degree, it is true that without my master’s degree, I could have had a bachelor’s degree and worked my way up for years to make a good living! Why is that? Because not every degree pays good money unless you work for years at a job or get another degree.
Some college students are burnt out after a bachelor’s degree, so a master’s degree is not an option, and then they may wish that they have gone another route.
There are so many times where I wish I chose a short program that pays well only because now I am a mom, just finished my master’s, and wants to stay home with my babies when I could have started my career at 21 or 22.
College is not the only way to success, nor is a degree, and that is why I am here to share with you quick short programs that pay well so you can advance in your career!
There are different lengths of short programs that pay well. Some of these programs are four weeks, six months, nine months, or even one year.
Although that length of time seems like A LOT OF TIME, think about what you were doing last year. One or two years is just an inch of time, in comparison to 30 years into your career when you retire.
Short Programs That Pay Well
1. Coding Bootcamp
Do you have experience with technology, codes, and web development? Even if you don’t you can become a web developer in three or six short months, depending on if you choose to go the program part-time or full time. Web developers develop and design websites from home using javascript, CSS, and more. In the Berkeley Coding Bootcamp, you build a portfolio using all of the assignments you work on. With that portfolio, you can apply to jobs of your interest and even build your resume to become your own boss and gain your clientele through Fiverr.
2. Cybersecurity Bootcamp

There are so many trends to keep up with, and the way to make a lot of money as a hairdresser is to become a hair assistant to a professional hairstylist for at least one year.
Hair assisting after hair school will help you learn extensions, balayage, etc. so that you can become a professional yourself. At least you can make good money after hair school and even more once you are a professional and can hire an assistant yourself.
I knew a hairdresser that made over 10,000 dollars a month with a hair assistant working four days a week! The hard work pays off, and you will want to make sure you learn everything in hair school to make that much money.

This depends on where you live or as much as 80,000 dollars and even more with a lot of benefits including paid time off.
It is a risky and hands-on career, but your family would be set with the income you would make. There is also a lot of room for advancement. My family knows a few police officers, which have advanced, and one earns over 100,000 a year and the other more than 200,000 a year, so it is possible!

11. Dental Hygiene
If you think working in the mouth and cleaning teeth to help people keep a fresh smile is your thing, become a dental hygienist. I knew a hygienist that worked four days a week and made over 70,000 dollars a year! I was dumbfounded, but it is a great career if you can deal with a little more schooling that is not so much bookwork but more hands-on.
